Can you imagine a place somewhere
Where there is no hate or anger or fear?
Where you can do or say or be
whatever your mind and heart
can see.
A place where the air is pure and clean,
where everyone cares
And the forests stay green.
Where all of the animals have a home
And a beautiful place where they can roam.
There is such a place, and you can go –
but first some things you ought to know.
There are some rules you must obey
in order for it to stay that way.
Rule number one –
Always be fair!
Rule number two –
You must always care!
Rule number three
And rule number four –
Give as much as you can
so there will always be more.
Rule number five
Is no joke –
You must not litter,
pollute or smoke
Rule number six
Says what it means –
Everything must be cared for
And clean!
Rule number seven
And rule number eight –
You must always be kind,
You must never hate!
Rule number nine,
next to last –
Live for the future
And not in the past!
Now number ten,
Last of the rules –
Don’t judge others,
It’s mean and it’s cruel!
‘Where is this place?’
you ask once more.
Just go outside
and close your door.
Look around
and what do you see?
It’s planet Earth,
The way it was meant to be!
